WHICH IS THE WEALTHIEST PLACE ?

According to Ambrose Ongol in his book Live your purpose, the wealthiest place on earth is the cemetery. This is because many ideas that were not implemented exist. He seems to agree with the late Dr. Myles Munroe who agreed that an average person only uses 10% of his or her potential. Even the geniuses of this world like Thomas Edison used not more than 12% of their God given potential.

It seems from the above  that we should pay extra attention on how we live on a daily basis. If one asks any youth to describe themselves, they will quickly refer to where they work or study. It seems human nature is accustomed to external accomplishments and that is why some witch doctors have murdered young children in pursuit of wealth. In Africa it seems that we need to be sensitized about ways to make authentic wealth instead of basing on mysteries as a gateway to wealth creation. In the grand scheme of life I pose a question, why kill an innocent child because you want to get money?

The man who cut innocent children while seeking a ransom is an indicator of why mindset change is critical in society. Instead of devising long term ways to wealth creation this man decided to use a panga to harm innocent children. In the end he was shot dead( waste of human potential). There is a story of a man who was lynched by a mob for stealing a chicken. This justifies the fact that the cemetery must be one of the wealthiest places. This is because many unrealized companies, songs and schools that were meant to be built were cut short.

We live in a generation that tends to despise ideas. I once listened to a group of youths who noted that they did not believe in leaders who tell them that one can start small and grow big. But Google started in a garage and so was Sony corporation. The failure of some of the youths to appreciate humble beginnings may explain the high levels of unemployment and under employment in the country. There have been many cases of youths with a lot of potential who lost their lives to drugs. I remember a vivid case of a youth that I knew that died because of substance abuse.

HOW TO MAXIMIZE YOUR PERSONAL POTENTIAL

1.It starts with God. If God is the source of life then we must consult Him about the purpose and meaning of our lives. Many youths have joined deadly cults because they ignore to ask God about the purpose of their lives.

2.The power of intentional living. Dr. John Maxwell wrote a book called intentional living. In this book he notes that we must intentionally add value to others. When we do not live intentionally we are bound to live below our full potential.

3. Set a clear vision for your life. Joel Osteen in his book Your Best Life Now shares how his father John Osteen had a vision of setting up a big church. However the critics then did not believe his dream or vision. This is usually the case with visionaries. They face resistance from other people. It also happened to the Wright Brothers as they developed the idea of a plane. Today their invention has changed the transport industry across the world.

The question that I leave with the dear reader is what if Steve Jobs did not start Apple, what if the Wright Brothers had listened to critics, what if Nelson Mandela had given up on his cause. Let us deprive the cemetery of all the worthy ideas and plans when we are still alive.

Let us fulfill and maximize our God given potential
